LGBT+ Resources
Having moved to many places over the years, I find myself always looking to find my local community. It is not always easy to find important community resources through normal everyday searches.
Here I am creating a list of links to places such as LGBT Suicide Prevention hotlines, LGBT+ Elder Support, Transgender Healthcare Clinics, LGBT+ Youth organizations, P-Flag chapters and more. Stay tuned.
It is important to note that I have no affiliation with any of these programs. I am posting these here to help make our community stronger.
If you know of any links you feel would be beneficial, Please drop me an email at TheGreenSatyr@Gmail.com
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States. We’re committed to improving crisis services and advancing suicide prevention by empowering individuals, advancing professional best practices, and building awareness.
The LGBTQ+ community is diverse and made up of different experiences, identities, and challenges. However, members of the community are disproportionately at-risk for suicide and other mental health struggles. Click here to find information and resources for yourself and to help support loved ones who identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
Trans Lifeline
Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people for our trans and questioning peers. Call us if you need someone trans to talk to, even if you’re not in crisis or if you’re not sure you’re trans.

Here’s what we want you to know:
- We don’t define what a crisis is and isn’t, and you don’t need to be in crisis to call.
- Call us for any reason. You deserve support.
- Your call will be answered by a trans person.
- There’s nothing you have to say, or any intake questions you’ll have to answer. We can just talk to you, or we can just listen.
- If you experience vocal dysphoria, we won’t assume your gender identity.
- You won’t be asked for any identifying information.
- We do not call any emergency services, or otherwise break your confidentiality without your explicit request.
